Randy Belicek ( Teacher / Coach / School Board Member / Athletic Director 1977 - 2012 )

Graduate of Choctaw High School and Oklahoma Baptist University

Came to Purcell in the Fall of 1977 where he served as a Middle School Teacher and Coach. Also served as an Assistant High School Football Coach, Assistant High School Girls Basketball Coach, Assistant and Head Track Coach, along with many other Junior High Coaching and Teaching duties

Coached 3 undefeated Junior High Football Teams

Coached 20 Cross Country Teams to State and coached also 24 Track Teams to the State

Coached 18 State Top Ten Cross Country Teams and 14 State Top Ten Track Teams

Coached 3 State Championship Track and Field Teams at Purcell

Coached 3 State Championship Track and Field Runner-Up Teams at Purcell

Randy's High School Girls' Track Teams won 14 Conference titles and his Cross Country Teams won 17 Conference Titles. His Track and Cross Country Teams also won 8 Regional Titles

Coached 50 athletes that won some type of All-State Honors

Oklahoma Track Coaches Association Cross Country Coach of the Year ( 1985 )

Oklahoma Track Coaches Association Track Coach of the Year ( 1989 & 1995 )

4-time Oklahoma Track Coaches Association "Region 5 Track Coach of the Year"

Former Oklahoma Track Coaches Association President and Executive Secretary

Member of the Oklahoma Track Coaches Association Hall of Fame

Founder and Director of the Oklahoma Track Coaches Association Winter Clinic ( 1992 -2012 )

Served on the National Federation High School Track and Field Rules Committee ( 2009 - 2012 )

Will always be recognized, along with long time PHS Head Track Coach Bob Haley, as one of the two coaches that forever changed the fortunes of the PHS Boys and Girls Track Programs
