Surgical Residency at U.S. Veterans Hospital In Denver, CO (1950 - 1953). After completion, Bob started his own private surgical practice in Denver in 1953

Later would serve as the Chief of Surgery for over 10 years for Presbyterian Hospital of Denver, where he also found time to serve on the Hospital's Board of Directors

Served as a Clinical Professor of Surgery for the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Bob also has served on the Board of Admissions for the CU medical school
